to benefit the Union Rescue Mission

 

James 1: 26-27    26 If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man's religion is worthless.    27 Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world. Our theme @ NC2 this year deals with our responsibility to honor God and to bring him glory by our actions.  One way we can do that is by helping others.

We are asking all churches to help us provide toilet paper for the Union Rescue Mission in Little Rock.  The URM has ministries such as the Dorcas House which provides shelter and needs to women & children who are victims of domestic violence.  You can visit their website for more information.  Just click the banner below.



Brandan Thomas (Antioch - Little Rock) does volunteer work for the Union Rescue Mission & the Dorcas House.  He is organizing this drive and will be delivering the goods from NC2 to URM on Tuesday morning.  Help us help those who are desperate need.
